The interpretation of past societies is often focused on the analysis of material culture. Microscopic analysis allows us to identify traces of how an artefact was made and used, which can offer insight into multiple facets of human-object interaction. These interactions can be further investigated through experimental archaeology, which allows us to gain a greater understanding of the materials and technologies used in the past. We offer services in these approaches, as well as consultancy and services in scientific journalism and public outreach through our sister platform "The Archaeologist's Teacup".
